Hotel Management Joint Entrance Exam

National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology conducts the Hotel Management Joint Entrance Exam (JEE). The test is carried out to select the qualified candidates for the B.Sc. Hospitality and Hotel management programs. There are many institutes that come under NCHMCT. Aspirants who clear the test can seek for admissions for the course in any of the institutes. Forms for the test are issued from November - February months and the test is conducted mostly in the month of April. As the test is held in many centers within the country, aspirants can opt for their nearest exam center for writing the test.

Structure and Pattern of the Hotel Management JEE

It is a 3 hours duration test that carries 200 marks. It consists of questions on aptitude, reasoning and logical presumption. There will also be an English language test. Aspirants should have detailed knowledge in GK and current affairs also so as to clear the test. The mode of instructions in the test will be English.

Qualification Criteria for the Hotel Management JEE

Aspirants who have completed the XII exam or equivalent from any discipline can apply for the test. However, it is compulsory that the students should have studied English in the qualifying course. Those who are attending the final year of eligibility exam can also apply for the exam. The aspirants are required not to be aged above 22 years. The candidates belonging to the reserved categories will get a relaxation of 3 years.
