    dearfriend...

Generally people join banking and finance sector if they think that it is easier and comfortable than the job they could get through their real academic background.
The sector offers a white collar job and opportunity to perform socially. There are lots of banking jobs that are coming up both in case of the nationalized banks and also in case of the private banks.

These are some of the qualifications you should have to join in a banking sector.

    EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
For the post of bank exam you should be graduatein any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks. For the reserved category candidates (SC/ ST/PD) minimum of 55% is required.

    AGE LIMIT
For the post of bank PO exam your age
should be between 21 years and 30 years.

Aggregate percentage may vary from bank to bank.

    all the best........

    Dear friend.
you can join the banking sector after your B.A in english.

In my knowledge to join the banking sector after the graduation like you have completed there is a very bright career in the banking line called as the clerical posts or the probationary officers posts in various banks of India through the exams called as the Indian banks clerical or PO Exams

These exams are conducted on an annual basis by various banks of India like:
    *UCO bank
    *Dena bank
    *ICICI
    *Punjab National Bank
    *allahabad
    *SBI
    and many more...

To be eligible for the exams:
*you have to be a graduate in any discipline with atleast 60% marks in graduation to be eligible for all the bank exams.
*you have to be 21 to 30 years of age while going for the exam but there is 3 to 5 years age reaxation for the category reserved quotas.
*you have to be an Indian national
*you have to be having a good working knowledge of the MS office
since yo fulfill the above criteria so you can go for the exams.
some examples of the exams are: SBI PO, IBPS PO, ALLAHABAD PO EXAM, PNB CLERICAL EXAM, and many more...

Let me tell you that there is a common entrance in this field too called as the IBPS PO exam through which you can apply for the clerical posts in any of the 19 public sector banks of India.

The syllabus of the exams is as follows:
*Prelim exam: It consist of objective questions on general awareness, quantittative aptitude, reasoning, general english and computer knowledge
*Main exam: It is the written exam which is on essay writing, precise writing, letter writing english compo, etc..

Then the interview stage comes after which the post allocations are done and you are recruited after qualifying.

the notification for all the exams generally comes in the month of april to june every year.

    Good luck

    Hello Friend

If you are interested in coming to Banking sector after your completion of B.A English and it is the right field to start your career.

Banking field is one of the most important field where many young aspirants show their interest and it needs a lot of hard work.

Dude there are many Banks All Over India both Public and Private Sector and you can apply for any bank of your choice when advertisements are given by Banks.

Dude in my view you go for Bank Po's exam as you have completed your B.A and you are a Degree holder. You can go for IBPS ( Institute Of Banking Personnel Selection ) conducting the common written exam ( CWE ) for the entry into 19 Public sector Banks to Po's / Management Trainee / Clerk cadre.

    Eligibility :

    Educational qualification :

you must be a Degree holder from any recognized university with a minimum percentage of marks.

    Age Criteria :

you must have minimum of 20 years and maximum of 30 years of age.

So dude in my view you go for IBPS CWE for PO's cadre. IBPS conducts this exam twice in every year as PO's exam is over on 18th September 2011 if you are interested to apply you have to wait for next notification.

Besides these there are several other Banks recruiting PO's through common written exam they are conducting separately.

So for any further information leave your message here.

    REGARDS.
