The basic educational qualification for both the IAS/IPS exam is a graduation in any discipline. It should be secured from a recognized institute or university. The age limit for both the exams will be same. You should be between 21- 30 years. There is age relaxation in case of the reserved categories. The OBC candidates will be allowed a 3 years relaxation and the SC/ST candidates will be allowed a 5 years age relaxations. The candidates can get all the important information for these exams from the official website of UPSC. You can apply online for this exam. You need to attend the written exam as part of the selection criteria.
