Group-Y Airmen Selection Test:

>>>This is under the airforce ,and only unmarried male canditates are eligible.In this the selection is NOT for SELECTION AS OFFICERS/ PILOTS/ NAVIGATORS.

ELIGIBILITY:

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

>>>Intermediate/10+2 with Science, Arts or Commerce subjects with minimum 50% marks.
OR
>>>3 years Diploma in any stream of Engineering from Polytechnic [Except for Auto Tech, GTI and IAF (P) Trades] in Indian Air Force.
OR
>>>Vocational Courses conducted by CBSE and Kerala Board (AIU) are also eligible.

AGE LIMIT:

>>In Between 18 years to 28 years only.AND 5. MEDICAL STANDARDS ;
(a) Height: Minimum 152.5 cm,(b) Chest: Minimum 5 cm,(c) Weight: Proportionate to height and age,
(d) Vision: 6/36 and correctable to at least 6/9 ,(e) Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) is not acceptable,
(f) Hearing: normal hearing i.e. from a distance of 6 meters,(g) Dental: Should have healthy gums, and minimum 14 dental points,(h) Health: Candidates should be free from medical or surgical deformity.
