    Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT)

    The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test is a nation wide examination that is organized by the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. This exam is carried out in the stead of the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi.

    Structure and Pattern of GPAT

    The GPAT exam will have duration of 3 hours. The paper will comprise of 100 questions and will have a total of 100 marks. The paper will include objective type questions with multiple options. The students will have an opportunity to answer from 4 choices. In case the students make an error, a negative marking of 1/3 marks will be awarded.

    Qualification Criteria for GPAT

    Candidates who seek to appear for the GPAT exam must have a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm). Those students who are appearing for their final year are also suitable to apply for the exam.

    Application Procedure of GPAT

    Candidates can get the application for the GPAT exam by two methods - The online and offline methods. Those candidates who would like to apply by means of the online method can do so through the formal website of the GPAT - www.msubaroda.ac.in., www.gpat.in. It is also possible for the candidates to purchase the form directly from the sales counter of the GPAT office. In case the candidates would like to get their forms by post, they must send a letter of request to the GPAT office alongside a DD of Rs 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for the candidates of the reserved categories). The detail information on how to fill the application will be provided in the information brochure of the GPAT exam. The candidates must make sure that the filled up form is sent to the GPAT office before the last date. Forms that are received past the final date will be rejected.

    Eligibility:
    1:You should have the Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy

    or
    2:The Final year examination of B. Pharmacy in the current year also can apply for appearing for GPAT examination.
    Exam pattern :
    i)Examination will consist of a single paper of 3 hours duration containing 100 questions carrying a maximum of 100 marks.
    ii)The question paper will consist of only multiple choice objective-type
    iii)1/3 (one-third) mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
