For joining for the CS foundation course you need to have passed your 12th standard. Since you are have completed your graduation you can directly join for the executive course. Being from the law background will be an added advantage. You need to enroll yourself for the course by sending a DD in favour of ICSI for Rs 250/- for the prospectus. All the related information will be available in the prospectus. The next exam will be in June. If you need more time to prepare then you can appear for the December exam. Make sure to enroll yourself at least 3 months before the date of the exam. On registering you will receive all the required study material for the exam. You can refer other books too for additional information.

It is good to see your interest towards the Company Secretary course. As to have BA.LLB you are eligible to apply for the course. One main advantage graduates get is that, they will get an exemption from the foundation course. Graduates can directly enter in to the second level. The basic eligibility of CS is to have a +2. With a BA in LLB you can enroll in the Executive level. If you complete this level then next comes the professional level. Candidates who successfully complete this are required to go for practical training afterwards. As to enroll you need to send completely filled in form to the ICSI. You can also collect the form from the office directly. Candidates are required to send a DD of Rs. 250 to get the application form. If collecting directly from the office only Rs.200 is to be provided. The exams are held two times a year in June or December. Fix a month which is appropriate for you and apply for CS.
