IAS(Indian Administrative Service) exam is conducted by UPSC.
The eligibility for IAS is as follows:
-Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
    -Age limit: 21-30yrs.

Doing MBBS will not affect IAS exam in any way.You can do your further studies.

Dear freind, first you must know that what is your interest according to your interest choose any degree course.Once you completed your graduation you will be eligible for ias exam.Mbbs is 5-6 years programme and after completing it you will get other very good opportunities so at that time students give less preference to ias,but it does not mean that you cant do after mbbs you can.But now the situation is that you have not still decided that which course will more comfortable for you.So you must first analyze your interests.Good luck!

    No it is not good.
Becuse you will face a lot of stress in medical so that you can't prepare for IAS in that time.
So it is better to go for B.Sc.
You can prepare for IAS side by side doing B.Sc.
    GOOD LUCK

dear friend, you can obviously go for IAS alongwith it you can pursue MBBS as it secures your future at least ,to be very practical
yes,but if your aim is IAS,you can follow it up alongwith becoming a doctor, which is also a dream of many people, even though you want to opt it alongwith ias.friend;you will be very happy to know that in the year 2008 or 2009,the man who topped in IAS exams was a MBBS doctor ,SO GO AHEAD!

Yes, you can do graduation in any stream, many medical students apply for CSE with medical optionals.
But in order to get into IAS, you should have a strong aptitude for social service & to bring a change.
Also you must have a valid reason as why are you opting for Civil service from medical field.

    friend,

MBBS won't be a good option to have degree to be a ias.
I think you should do B.A that will help you a lot
because there are subjects like history and geography which are great to score.

The eligibility for sitting in Civil services exam is a graduation degree in any discipline.
So it does not makes any diffrence which graduation degree you choose to do.
You can select those subject what you study in graduation in the mains examination of Civil services.
A good number of Engineers and doctors take civil services examination every year and succeed too.
But don't think that MBBS is best to take IAS exams later.
If really you are serious about civil services then better do simple graduation like Bsc etc.
And start preparing for IAS during graduation only.

IAS examination is conducted by UPSC every Year, And this examination is called civil services examination. And to appear in this examination, you must have a graduate degree and your age should between 21 to 30 years. So you can do any graduate course, If your aim is to crack the Civil services examination. But there is no need to do MBBS course, Because it is doctrate degree and after completing this course you can get jobs as a doctor, But if your ultimate aim is to become a IAS Officer, then you can do other graduate course, because any graduate students are eligible to apply for IAS examination. But after MBBS you can also apply for IAS examination, The Notification was published in the employment newspaper OR in the official website of UPSC, So please visit the official website and check all the information form there.

No, it is not a good option to go for MBBS if you want to write UPSC examination

No need to waste 2 more years by studying MBBS , instead you can opt for BA courses whereas you will finish it within 3 years , you will get to save 2 years

It doesn't mean that you are not eligible if you did MBBS before writing UPSC , any way it is unnecessary

With that two years you may prepare for the UPSC exam it self ,

    Good luck

    >>IAS STANDS FOR INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE.IF YOU WANT TO BECOME AN IAS OFFICER THEN YOU MUST CRACK THE UPSC EXAM.

    >>THE BASIC ELIGIBILITY IS YOU MUST HAVE COMPLETED A DEGREE COURSE.SO IF YOU CHOOSE MBBS THEN YOU MAY GET SOME DIFFICULT QUESTIONS IN IAS EXAM.

    >>SO BETTER YOU MAY SELECT A EASY DEGREE COURSE AS IT WILL BE EASY FOR THE EXAM ALSO
