    hi there,
doing MBA supports your career and push you up in the middle level hierarchy directly. But, doing MBA from just any college for the sake of doing it, will not going to give you any extra result. In the current trend MBA freshers having BSc are also getting sales or MR jobs from the pharma company. If you have a flair in selling and marketing, then MBA in marketing is best for you. But, is you can do MR job then i would suggest you to study higher like MSC or something in nano technology and after taking experience of 2-3 years then go for doing MBA from IIMS or other good and reputed colleges..

    All the best

Thumbs up Re: Is it a good decision to do MBA after B.Sc(Biology)?

    HI friend,

Well, actually it depends upon your own choice . MBA reqires some qualities like good orating skills, good english and and yes, mind which can reason to a greater extent. Well, if you have such properties then of course then it is a good option for you, just give a try to MBA. As we all are aware that MBA is Master of Business Administration (MBA or M.B.A.) is a master's degree in business administration. The core courses in the MBA program are designed to introduce students to the various areas of business such as accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, operations management, etc. Students in MBA programs have the option of taking general business courses throughout the program or can select an area of concentration and focus approximately one-fourth of their studies in this subject.

If you go for M.Sc after B.Sc then for sure you have less opportunities than MBa for sure, so i will suggest you to go for it but remember that you should have all those properties which i mentioned up there. You may choose among various trades .

    Trades in MBA :

    Health Care Management
    Marketing
    Communication
    Entrepreneurship
    Hospitality & Tourism
    Human Resources (HR)
    Accounting
    Environmental Management
    Information Systems
    International Management
    Internet Marketing
    Marketing
    Operations Management
    Human Resource Management

    Hope it helps!!

After B.Sc it is a good decision to do MBA. But this course should be chosen for study only if you have interest towards this field. You can build your career in management field with an MBA course. More over this degree will help you to get in higher level job posts in government or private sector. 50% marks is necessary to apply for MBA. You can join MBA through attending CET such as MAT/CAT or similar other entrance exams. If you are able to clear CET you will have to attend GD and personal interview to get in to this course area.
