    I'll concentrate only in INDIA because I don't want anyone to leave india You guys with great brains should make India Pride..that is my attitude

    To join an MBA course you have a lot options

    you can write entrance exams like

    ->cat
    ->mat
    ->xat
    ->gmat etc

    ->you can also write some of the entrance exams like JMET for IIT management schools

    If you score good ranking in the above mentioned entrance exams, then you will get good college.

    There are MBA entrance exams at state level also.

    Hi..
    Thankfully you are in 2nd year & its the right time to know.
    Masters in Business Administration is a 2 year course.
    You need to write entrance exams for that. You can also go via management seat.
    The entrance tests are CAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP, PGCET( for Karnataka students), TANCET(for Tamil Nadu), GMAT, FMS etc..
    CAT comes once in a year & MAT 4 times a year.
    Start preparing from now very seriously.

    After completing B.Com you should write TANCET exam otherwise you have to write an entrance exam such as MAT/CAT/XAT or ATMA to get admitted into this course.

    Details about MBA:

    MBA is a PG course,which can be done in 4 modes namely:
    • Part Time
    • Full Time
    • Executive MBA
    • Distance Learning

    There are certain eligibility criteria which has to be satisfied to join in MBA course.
    • There is no specified age limit for joining in MBA course.You can join in MBA at any age.
    • Education qualification needed for joining in MBA course is that the candidate must have completed a 3 years graduate degree with at least 50% aggregate.For the SC/ST candidates there is a exception that they need to have at least 45% aggregate.

    As you have done your B.com which is a 3 year UG degree,you can join in MBA course unless that you have a percentage more than 50%.You don't need to worry about the age as there is no age limit.

    You need to write the entrance exam which are conducted in India for joining in MBA,and for applying for these exams you need to satisfy the eligibility criteria for the entrance exam which you are applying for.

    Hi Santosh,

    On successful completion of your B.Com you are eligible for pursuing your MBA.

    There are National Level exams like CAT,MAT, CMAT etc.,
    Many B-Schools conduct their own entrance tests like XAT, SNAP etc.,

    However almost all B-schools consider CAT score. So take CAT test for sure and the rest of exams on your interest.
    Many B-schools accept your GMAT score also .

    So If you wish to pursue your MBA in abroad then take GMAT, as it will help you in both ways (for pursuing MBA in India and abroad). All the best.
