    In this year you can't write because already exam process is over ,
    so what i am giving below details for 2012 IAS exam.]

    There is no cut off marks in graduation to apply for IPS exam .

    IPS exam is carried out by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) and constitutes two stages:

    *Preliminary Examination

    *It comprises of multiple choice questions and is also a qualifying exam for appearing into second exam.

    *The Main Examination.

    *It comprises a written exam and an interview.


    Eligibility:

    Education:
    *A bachelors degree in any field and from any university .

    Age:

    *It is between 21 to 30 for general candidate .

    *And there is age relaxation for reserved category .

    *Number of attempts:

    general -4
    obc-7
    sc/st-no limit


    Some important points from my side:

    *For selection in this exam you need to command in G.K .

    *It will be better that you start your preparation from the start of the graduation degree.

    *Also you can join some good coaching institute for guidance .

    you may don't know that THE IAS exam pattern is going to be change here i am providing you the full details for the IAS 2012.
    THE IAS exam consists of three stages.
    prelims,
    mains,
    interview.

    preliminary exam will be objective in nature and the mains will be written while the personality test is verbal.
    you can enter to the nest stage after cracking the prelims of IAS exam, after the prelims you are going to write the mains and for the interviews after your respective marks.
    all the IAS exam is conducted by the union public service exam.
    the last date of receipt of your application is 05-03-2012.
    date of the exam is on 20-05-2012.

    If you are Interested to become IAS Officer in future then for this you have to cracked the UPSC Civil services examination !!

    IAS Stands for Indian Administrative Service.

    And to become IAS Officer, you have to apply for the UPSC Civil services examination. This examination is conducted by UPSC Comission every year in 2 stages, Preliminary examination and Main examination.

    Preliminary examination pattern was already changed by UPSC Comission and this examination are also Known as CSAT (Civil Services aptitude test). In this examination there are 2 Objective type papers of same marks and duration and firstly you have to cracked the Preliminary examination, Only then you are eligible for Main examination. In Main examination, you have to choose the Optional subjects on the basis of Graduation. The list of subjects are availiable in the Notification.     Eligiblity Criteria :

    IAS Stands for Indian Administrative Service and it is conducted by Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) every year.
    Being an IAS officer, there is a lot more power and control you have so that you can be part of Emerging India!!! Getting into the IAS is not that easy! There is a very competitive “one year long” exam! To get into the IAS, you probably will have to try more than once before you succeed. And even if you clear the exam, then you have to get a very good score to qualify for the IAS!


    Eligibility for IAS:

    You must be a citizen of India.
    Age limits for IAS:
    You must have attained 21 years and not be over 30 years on August 1 of the year of examination.
    The upper age limit is relaxed in specific cases as mentioned below:
    upto a maximum of 5 years if the candidate belongs to SC/ST.
    upto a maximum of 3 years if the candidate belongs to Other Backward Classes(BC's)
    You must complete your Graduation Degree(No restriction in Min.Percent)

    IAS (Indian Administrative Services) is basically for those who are firmly determined for dedication of themselves towards the own country.

    If you are so interested for IAS,after being Engineers, Doctors, or Ph.d you can sit IAS exam conducted by UPSC.

    According to the new exam pattern of the IAS exam

    1) General-Studies paper which carries 150 marks

    Details of IAS Examination :
    IAS examination is conducted by UPSC every year .
    UPSC every years conducts Civil Services Examination.
    The candidates have to apply for Civil Services Examination to write the IAS examination .
    The Civil Services Examination Notifications were published on Official website of UPSC .

    To write Civil Services Examination the candidates must be graduate in any stream .
    Only Graduate candidates are eligible to write the IAS examination.

    The candidates age must be between 21 years to 30 years.
    Age relaxation is given to reserved category candidates.

    No. Of the attempts allowed : gen 4 ,OBC 7 and Sc/St no limit.

    The candidate must be citizen of India.

    The Civil Services Examination ic conducted in two phases :
    CSAT exam
    Mains + Interview .

    IAS (Indian Administration Service)

    IAS is conducted by the union public service commission under the civil services examination and this exam is conducted every year once.

    This exam is exam for recruiting the collector officer in various departments for controlling law and order and general administration in state as well as in central govt. and for this the selection processor is based on the following 3 stages,they include;..
    Preliminary Examination
    Main Examination
    Interview.
    The first exam to be conducted is the preliminary examination,and main examination. After qualifying both examinations you will be called for personal interview.



    Eligibility Requirements :

    The required educational qualifications are you must completed the graduation from recognized university and here not required any percentage in graduation.

    For this post you can apply 4 times only if you are general category candidates otherwise you can apply 7 times if you are OBC category candidates and NO LIMIT for SC/ST category candidates.

    Here the required age limit should be 21-30 years for general category candidates and 21-33 years for OBC category candidates and 21-35 years for SC/ST category candidates .

    You must be indian citizen and you must be physical fit.

    So,for this year the submission of application form is over on 5 march 2012,if you are already apply this you have preliminary exam held on 20/May/2012.

    The elligibity criteria for IAS :

    * Candidates must have gradaution Stream in any steam from Recognized University .

    * No specific percentage is required , you have pass gradaution in any stream.

    * Candidates age must be 21 years and 30 years.

    This examination is conducted by the UPSC every year.UPSC conducts this examination commonly know an CSE(Civil Service Examination).This examination completes in the following three stages;-



    ==> Preliminary.
    ==> Mains.
    ==> Interview.



    The basic eligibility criteria for this exam is to have a bachelor degree in any stream from a recognized university with good percentile.There is not any kind of restriction to opt any particular graduation course for being eligible in
    this exam.One is totally free to opt any of the bachelor course according to their way of convenience as well as easiness.



    After successfully completion of the bachelor degree one is eligible to write this exam.First You have to appear in the Preliminary exam.This exam is consist of two paper as Paper I and Paper II.Each paper will be of 200 MM.The test will be Objective type questions.
