UPSC means union public service commission ,under upsc: IAS ,IPS ,IFS ,IRS will come ,IAS: indian administrative service ,ips: indian police service ,ifs: indian foreign service ,irs: indian railway service .

if you want to become the IAS officer ,you must prepare for civils ,IAS is in three stages:
1)preliminary exams
2)mains examinations
3)interview

14 optional papers in mains examinations ,you can choose any two of 14 optional papers according to u r wish


eligibility for IAS:

1)must be a citizen of india
2)age between 21-30 years
3)candidate can attempt the exam for 4 times only
SC,ST candidates can attempt more than 4 ,5 or 7 times
