GGS Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) Law Entrance Test

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducts the (GGSIPU) Law Entrance Test for the selection of eligible candidates for the UG and PG law programs within the University. Those who clear the test can seek admissions for the BA LLB and LLM courses. As the test is conducted in many centers across the country, aspirants can attend the test in any of their nearest exam centers. The test is different for graduates and postgraduates.

Structure and Pattern of the GGSIPU Law Entrance Test

The BA LLB / BBA LLB exam involves questions on legal aptitude, GK, reasoning and on English language. For the LLM entrance exam, questions will be on qualifying exam law subjects. In addition, there will be questions on GK, English and current trends in law. It is a written test, which may contain 150 questions carrying 600 marks. For wrong answers, there is minus marking. The test will be for a time period of 2.30 hours.

Qualification Criteria for the GGSIPU Law Entrance Test

Those who have completed the 10+2 exam from CG Board or equivalency can apply for the graduate law exam. The percentage requirement is 50% and above for these candidates. The eligibility criterion for the LLM program is a graduation in law from any UGC recognised University with not less than 50% marks.

Application Procedure of the GGSIPU Law Entrance Test

Usually, the forms are issued in March / April months and the test is held in May. Applicants can procure the forms for the examination from the selected branches of Punjab & Sind Bank that has many branches across the country. They can also purchase the same from the University official address. Aspirants can also apply for the test through the official website of the University. Completely filled in forms should be send to the University address prior to the last date.
