next go for NET or SET depends on your own convienence bevause in SET you will have one paper based on your mother tongue. Even if you complete your SET then you need not to appear for NET. So whatever you do both will have the same impact. The best way is why not to go for both since the books are same the syllabus is same then why not to opt for both

As you said that you haave complete MBA and M.Com course ,but both are the master degree programme and why you did so. You could join the job after the MBA programme.

You should join the HR post and also you are eligible for the different bank jobs.

If yoU are interested in NET exam then you are eligible for that.

You can write the net exam from commerce sunjects but the june session exam is over, you will wait for the december session notification will come in oct.

It seems from your question that you are interested in academics or research field.
Both NET and SET are eligibility test for lecturership but the difference lies in the fact that former is valid throughout the country while later is only for the respective state.
As syllabus for both is same, so it will be better to go for NET which is conducted by UGC twice a year. Next NET exam will be held in december and forms will be available from around september. For more details visit www.ugcnetonline.in
But start preparing as early as possible because syllabus is so vast and if you score good enough you can also clear for JRF merit list.
