    Eligibility and procedure for NET exam?

    Hi Sir,

    I am Rani completed my B.Com and now doing MBA correspondence course in symbiosis pune univercity. plz tel me the eligibility and procedure to take NET exam.

    hi dear,
    NET stands for National Eligibility Test.
    NET is conducted by UGC twice in a year.
    Eligibility require for NET:
    Candidate must be citizen of India.
    Candidate must hold post graduation degree.
    Candidate must score 55% in PG course,50% for SC/ST.
    No upper age limitation.

    4 years program/BE/B. Tech/B. Pharma/MBBS/Integrated BS-MS/M.Sc.
    Candidate enrolled for M.Sc. or having completed 10 2 3 years of the above qualifying examination are also eligible.Age limit of 28 years as of 01-07.2012.
    Details of test:
    Test in the subject of
    (I) Life Sciences
    (II) Mathematical Sciences &
    (III) Physical sciences
    Session (Time: 9.00 AM to 12.00 noon) and
    the test in the subject of (I) Chemical Sciences,
    (II) Earth, Atmospheric, Oceanand Planetary Sciences &
    (III) Engineering Sciences
    Afternoon Session (Time:2.00PM to 5.00 PM)
    Candidates seeking admission to the Test must apply in the prescribed application form provided along with this Information Bulletin. Ordinary post /registered post is acceptable

    NET- National Eligibility Test



    Age Limit:


    1.The candidate age is no upper limit for the lectureship

    2.For JRF candidates the age limit between 19 to 28 years.

    Eligibility Criteria:


    1.The Candidate should complete the graduation from any recognized university
    2.The candidate should have to minimum 55% of marks in his graduation course.
    3.The candidate should have a citizen of India

    NET exam is conducted by the UGC twice in a year.

    It is national elebuority test.

    It is national level exam.

    It requires minimum master degree from recognized university...

    If you are in final year then also you are eligible...

    you can fill the form online from the ugcnet official website....

    If you are in final year of MBA degree then you are eligible for NET Exam.

    NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted by UGC.This exam will be happen twice time in a year in the month of June and December.

    Those candidate have completed masters degree with above 55% marks from recognized university are eligible for NET exam.5% Marks relaxation is provide for SC/ST candidat

    There is no age limitation for those who are applying for Lectureship but for JRF,Your age should not be more then 28 years.

    From this year NET exam is fully based on objective type Question paper . Even paper III also objective type.There is no negative marking in any papers .

    NET exam date for December session is already over so you can wait for Next notification for the exam of June 2013.The announcement will be published on UGC website.

    It is good to see that you are interested to apply for NET Examination. This examination is one of the most famous examination for lectureship and Junior research fellowship post. The examination is conducted in June and December every year.You can apply many times you want. There is no restriction to apply for Lectureship post because there is no restriction in age. But for Junior Research fellowship post, your age should not be more than 28 years.

    You need Post graduate degree to appear for NET. This is the minimum requirement set by UGC. You have to scored minimum 55% marks in your post graduation. So if you have scored minimum 55% marks in your post graduation, then you are eligible for NET.

    Final year appearing candidates are also eligible to apply for this examination provisionally.

    You have to fill the application form online from the official website and pay the fees through SBI challan from. you can download the challan form directly from the official website of UGC.

    This examination is objective and there are total 3 papers in this examination, There is no negative marking in this examination. There are lots of subject in NET, and you have to choose 1 subject on the basis of your post graduation. The paper-I is same for all, but rest two papers is based on the subject you choose.

    You can also download the previous year papers and syllabus of NET examination from the official websites. So when you are pursuing final year of Post graduate course then you can apply for NET Examination and for more details check official website.

    UGC every year two times conduct NET examination in the mnth of june and december.

    The notification about examination is available at UGC website before the date of examination to be held.

    Educational qualifucation:

    You must have PG degree passed with 55% or above.

    Less than above percentage are not allowed for examination.

    Age limit :
    there is no age restriction for Lectruer post.
    for JRF maximum age limit is 28 years and after this age you can not apply for JRF.

    PROCEDURE FOR APPLYING THE EXAMINATION:

    You have to fill the form online through UGC website and pay the fees through Bank challan.

    NET stands for National Eiligibity Test .The examination is conducted for JRF post and Lectruership post across all over India.

    UGC ( Union Grant Commission) Every year conducts the examination.
    The examination is conducted two times in the month of June and December.

    The eXamination Notification were published on UGC official website.

    Educational qualification :
    the candidates must have post graduation degree completed with 55 % or above.

    Less than 55 % are not allowed to give the examination .

    Examination is conducted for Lectruership post and for Junior reserach fellowship post.

    You have to fill the application form online through UGC website....
