Re: Eligibility Criteria to pursue B.Ed Course in India?

    Hello,
B.ed is a 1 year diploma course and is meant for educational jobs like teaching in government or private schools. Earlier this course was of around 10 months. But now it has increased 2 months more and has become a full year course. You just have to be a graduate to opt for this. The graduation discipline from which you belong never really matters here. Also are you from honors or general course does not matter here. Also you must have 50% or more in your graduation. Now when you fulfill this criteria, the next level comes up. Here you must clear the B.ed. entrance examination for any institute that you want to apply
for. The examination system is normally of multiple choice questions. If you clear the cut-off score by sitting for this examination then you will be eligible for the B.ed. program of that institute.
