    Eligibility criteria for the next IBPS Clerical exam are not yet published. It may be much similar to that of the eligibility mentioned for the clerical examination conducted already. According to that, those who have passed matriculation with 60% marks are eligible to apply. Those who have passed intermediate class exam or examination of 10+2+3 pattern are also eligible. Graduates from any recognized institutions are also eligible to apply for the same. The age of the candidate must fall with in the limits of 18-28 years. Reserved category candidates can expect relaxation of age. Further details on the eligibility can be collected from the official site of IBPS.

    DETAILS OF BANK CLERK EXAM


    IBPS exam is conduct for BANK CLERK for 19 banks .

    Only those candidate have completed 10th are eligible for IBPS CLERK exam.

    Your 10th marks must be above 60% then you are eligible for IBPS CLERK exam.

    OR

    Those candidate have completed 12th with above 50% are eligible for IBPS CLERICAL exam.

    Also all candidate age must be in between 18 to 28 years.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.

    Those are belongs from Indian ,Nepalis, Bhutanese and Tibetan eligible.

    The examination test Patten:-

    IBPS is conducting CWE for 19 Public Sector Banks as each Bank will stipulate its own eligibility/ qualifying criteria.

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA for Clerk of a Public Sector Bank

    Prospective Candidates should ensure that they fulfill the specified eligibility criteria
    before applying for the Common Written Examination (CWE):

    I. Nationality / Citizenship:

    A candidate must be either -

    (i) a Citizen of India or

    (ii) a subject of Nepal or

    (iii) a subject of Bhutan or

    (iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the
    intention of permanently settling in India or

    (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka,East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly anganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

    IBPS conducts exam for the recruitment of candidates for the posts of Probationary officers and management trainees and Clerks.

    Eligibility Criteria :

    1)You should be a graduate in any field from any recognized university.

    2)You must have got 60% marks in matriculation or 50% marks in 10+2.

    3)If you are in the final year of graduation then also you are applicable for the exam.

    Age Limit:

    The Age Should Be Between 18 To 28 years

    There Is A Relaxation For The Reservation Candidates:

    IBPS(Institute of Banking Personnel selection):
    A common written exam will be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel as a pre-requisite for banking selection, in the 19 public sector banks participating in the IBPS selection.
    This selection for the banks posts through the common written examination is managed by the Indian Banks association(IBA),with the consent of the government of India.IBPS is an autonomus body managed by the IBA.
    Any candidate who wish to appear for the IBPS posts had to write the common written examination for the selection of banking jobs..Prospective candidates who wish to appear for the CWE will have to apply for the IBPS and should carefully follow the eligibility criteria before applying to the IBPS examination.There are different eligibility criteria for both the PO's and the Clerk posts..
    Eligibility Criteria for the Clerk:
    Nationality-
    Candidate who are appearing to the IBPS can be Indian,Tibetian,Nepal.but should settle in India.
    Age limit-
    Candidate who appear for the IBPS exam of clerk post can have age minimum of 18 years can apply for the examination and should not exceed 28 years of age..
    Age relaxations:
    SC/ST-5 years
    BC's-3 years
    disabled persons-10 years
    ex service men-8 years...
    Educational qualifications:
    Candidate who had passed 10 th are also eligible for the clercial posts and the aspirants with 60% in the matriculation form the government approved system are eligible for appearing to the entrance examination.
    Candidates who had completed their 12th or graduation should have at least 50%...
    SC/ST candidates pass in 10 th is enough for appearing to the entrance examination that is CWE..

    1. you should be indian citizen
    2. you should be above the age of 18 years
    3. you should have 10+2 pass certificate or graduation will do.

    Institute of Banking Personnal Selection Exam is a national level exam conducted by the Indian Banks Association every year for the recruitment of banking professionals like the probationary officers and the management trainees in 19 public sector banks of India through a common entrance.

    To be eligible for the exam:
    *Candidate must be a citizen of India
    *The age limit is 20 to 30 years for the General category. There is 3 to 10 years of age relaxation for the SC/ST/OBC candidates
    *The candidate must have obtained a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university

    Exam pattern:
    The exam consist of two stages:
    *Objective test: on General english, quantittative aptitude, General awareness, computer knowledge and reasoning.It is of 150 minuted duration.
    *Descriptive test: onessay, precise letter writing, and english compo. It is of 1 hour duration.

    Both the exams are of 250 marks each and there is a negative marking of .25 marks for the objective exam.

    *After that the score cards are provided by the institute based on which the candidate can apply in any bank based on that bank cut off and get recruited. The bank than carries on a separate selection procedure. The validity of the score cards is one year.

    The tentative dates for the next IBPS Exam are as follows:
    *Opening date: July beginning
    *closing date: August beginning
    *Date of the exam: Mid september

    IBPS Stands for Inst.of Banking Personnel Selection

    IBPS conducts the exam for both clerks and po's every year. And this time for the year 2011 the exams were finished last week. And the notification for the next clerk posts of IBPS will be declared in the month of sept/october.

    Eligibility criteria;

    You must have min.60% in tenth OR

    min.55% in your Inter OR pass in degree from any recognized University of India.

    Your age should be between 18-28 years
    - For SC/ST it is 5 years relaxation
    - For BC relaxation set as 3 years.
    - For the PH candidates 10 years and ex-service-men 5years.

    Exam pattern :

    Application Fee is Rs.50/- for SC/ST and for others it is 350/-

    The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) organises a Common
    written examination (CWE) for the selection of candidates for the various
    Clerical cadre posts in 10 Public sector banks. The first examination
    was conducted in 2011.

    However each of the participating bank in the examination will release it's
    own notification describing eligibility criterion like age ,proficiency in
    Official Language of the State and educational qualification.Also banks will
    disclose the minimum score that you need to score in the CWE to qualify for
    the interview.

    The IBPS will only organis the CWE . After giving the examination you will
    issued a scorecard and a score. The clerical cadre positions will be filled
    state wise. Therefore other process like interview etc will be conducted by
    the bank only.

    The eligibilit criterion to appear in this examination are as follows :-

    -Your age while appearing in this examination must be atleast 18 years .
    The maximum age for appearing for this exam is 28 years. For SC/ ST
    and OBC their is a relaxation in upper age.

    -The educational qualification are as follows :-

    a)You must have either secured a aggregate marks of 60% in senior secondary
    or matriculation exams.
    b)OR You must have secured atleast 50% marks as a aggreagte in higher secondary
    examination .
    c)Or you must have a Bachelors degree in any disipline from a recognised institute.

    You must fulfill any of the above criterion to be eligible for applying in this
    examination.

    Hi dude,

    IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.

    If you want to apply for IBPS exam you need to satisfy the eligibility set by them:-

    You have to completed your 10Th examination with minimum 60% marks

    or

    Scored Minimum 50% marks in your 12Th examination

    or

    Complete your Graduation degree in any discipline form a recognised university

    To apply for this examination your age should between 18 to 28 years , If you are General Candidate.

    Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.

    For SC/ST Candidates - 5 year Age relaxation is applicable

    For OBC candidates - 3 Year age relaxation.

    The examination fees of IBPS is Rs 350.

    You have to pay the fees in any Public sector banks, the list of Banks are available in the IBPS Notification.

    IBPS exam is conduct for BANK CLERK for 19 banks .

    Only those candidate have completed 10th are eligible for IBPS CLERK exam.

    Your 10th marks must be above 60% then you are eligible for IBPS CLERK exam.

    OR

    My Friend the IBPS stand for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. This Selection board conduct the common Bank Exam for Common 19 public sector Bank.The Eligibility Criteria for the IBPS Clerk is as follow
    Qualification :- You must have Higher secondary passed with 60% from a recognized Board.
    Age :- You must be 20-25 years of age.

    Well this exam is conducted every year to recruit students for clerical posts

    1. Qualified candidates have to apply through online application mode from the IBPS website.

    2. Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will conduct this exam 2 times in a year for Clerical Cadre posts only.
    Total no. of questions is 250,
    total marks 250 and
    total time duration of 150 minutes
    There will be Negative Marking of 0.25 marks for each for wrong answer in the objective type exam.

    The IBPS Bank Clerk examination is conducted by IBPS.

    IBPS stands for Institute of Business Personnel.

    The main requirement for the Clerk exam is 12th

    The marks in 12th should be at least 50%.

    The candidate must be aging between 18-28 years.

    Age relaxation of up to 5 years is there for SC/ST candidates.

    Age relaxation of up to 3 years is there for OBC candidates.

    He/She must be having good computer skills.

    The candidate must be having Indian Nationality.
