• Eligibility criteria for NDA exam

It is important to fulfill all the eligibility criteria's or else the application will be rejected. The age limit set is that the candidate must be born on or after 2nd January 1993 and before 1st July 1995. Since you were born in between this period you are eligible to apply. You also need to fulfill the other criteria's. First of all you need to be citizen of the country. You must healthy in terms of the height to the body weight comparison. Another important criteria is that the candidate must be unmarried. Only male candidates are allowed to apply. In terms of qualification it is a must that you must have completed your 12th standard.

The NDA exam is carried out by the UPSC every year. This will help qualified candidate to enter in to the defense force after +2. The eligibility requirements for NDA exam are mentioned below. Only male candidates are allowed to appear in this exam. Candidates must be at least 16 and a half and most not be more than 19. Candidate must not be married at the time of exam and also must not get married until the training period is over. The education qualification requirement is a 12th pass with physics and math’s as main subjects. Final year students can also apply. It is a must that the candidate be healthy as per the norms. Also he should not have any kind of mental or physical disability. The body weight should not exceed the limit. The minimum height should be at least 157.5 cms and maximum of 162.5 cms.

After completing 12th,You are Eligible To Apply for NDA Exam.
And the age should between16 1/2 To 19 yrs.And Only Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July,1993 and not later than 1st jan,1996 are Eligible.
And If you want to Apply for Air force or Naval wings.You should have a physics and Mathematics in 12th Level.And the candidates must be physically fit according to the physical standards for admission
to NDA Examination.And Minimum Acceptable height is 157.5 cms(162.5 cms for Air force).

Eligibility for NDA:

NDA examination is conducted by upsc twice in a year.one in the month of april and other in the
month of september.After clearing these exam a candidate will go through one ssb interview and medical test and after that the candidate will join NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY which is situated in pune.
The basic criteria for eligibility of NDA EXAM
1)For army wing is 10+2 pass in cbse or state board.
2)For airforce and naval wing is 10+2 pass with physics and mathematics in cbse or state board.

A candidate must be an unmarried male and have attained the age of 16 1/2 years and must not have attained the age 19 years on the 1st January or 1st of July of the year succeeding the year of examination.

A candidate must either be :

1)A citizen of India, or
2) A subject of Bhutan, or
3) A subject of Nepal, or
4) A Tibetan refugee who came over to India with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
5) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Yes sure my friend you are eligible the age must be between 16.5 to 19 years it is conducted by UPSC and held twice in a year.
The date of exam are at the beginning of August means 7 august.

Yes you can certainly fill the NDA form but not now as the registrations are closed for this year's exam.You can try for next year.The age requirement for NDA is 16.5-19 years and you fall into this category.A minimum of 60% is required in intermediate with science stream and you need to be physically and mentally very fit to clear the SSB interviews if you clear the first stage i.e. the written exam.You should have the appropriate height to weight ratio and should not be color blind.No abnormality or disability of any kind is accepted in the body.

sorry you can not apply for NDA exam...because you have 21years of age and according to the eligibility criteria for NDA exam,age limit should be 16.5-19years only...and candidates have to apply after completion of 10+2 class...so you can't be eligible to apply for NDA exam...best of luck.
