Re: Eligibility Criteria of IIT JEE and AIEEE

These exams are conducted for the admission of students in engineering in various top most IIT’s institues in India. You need to have passed 12th with 60% and more can apply. Mathematics should be one of the compulsory subject in the qualifying exam. You can attempt only twice. That too it should be in consecutive years. If you are in the final year you can still appear for this exam. AIEEE also conducts entrance exam. This is for the admission of students in various recognized colleges in the country. The exam can be attempted three times and should be in the consecutive years. The books you studied in the qualifying examination are enough for reference. You can also refer books available for competitive exams. The best way for practicing is to collect question papers and solve it out.

Re: Eligibility Criteria of IIT JEE and AIEEE

The eligibility criterion to apply for the IIT JEE and AIEEE is a pass in the intermediate course. Those from science with Mathematics background can apply. The percentage requirement for the IIT JEE is 60% marks. There is 5 % relaxation in marks for SC/ST and PWD candidates. However, the percentage requirement is only 50% for the AIEEE test. For SC/ST/OBC/PH aspirants, it is 40% marks in their XII. Aspirants should not be above 24 years of age in order to apply for the test. Reference books for this purpose are available in leading bookstores. Always keep in mind to choose books of standardized publications.

YOU SHOULD HAVE SECURED A MINIMUM OF 60% MARKS IN PCM.AND YOU CAN APPEAR FOR THE EXAMS AFTER 10+2. ONE OF THE IMPORTANT THING IS YOU SHOULD HAVE FOLLOWED NCERT BOOKS IN 11 AND 12.BECAUSE MOST OF THE QUESTIONS IN EXAMS ARE IN THE PATTERN OF NCERT.YOU WILL HAVE A DURATION FOR MORE THAN 1 ATTEMPT FOR SECURING THESE EXAMS FOR 2 YEARS FROM THE DATE OF PASSING 10+2 EXAMS.

    IITJEE:
The exam is conducted by IITs for Btech four year program in engineering.

Students having studied PCM in 12 are eligible for this. You should be a 12th appearing students. But if you are 12th passed , then you can apply if you have atleast 60% in 12th aggregate.

    No of attempts two only.

Total around 10,000 students are selected among 5 L, so competition is very tough.

    AIEEE:
The exam is conducted by CBSE , its an all India level exam for admission in Btech program in 20 NITs across India.

Eligibility is same as that of IITJEE except , only 50% are required.

    NO of attempt two only.

Approx 20,000 are selected among 10L. AIEEE score is also accepted by many other pvt institutes.
