    Hai,

The admission process for the engineering students is through the MHCET(Maharashtra Engineering Common Entrance Examination).

    Eligibility criteria:-

The candidate should be complete 12th standard with atleast 50% of marks from a recognised board.

The candidate must be complete 12th standard with Mathematics as subject otherwise not eligible.

The candidates should be not be morethan 20 years and there is no age relaxation.

The selection process will be based on the MHCET exam marks percentage and 12th standard percentage.

    Best of luck

    Hello friend,

One thing that i want to clear to you that there is no CET entrance exam in any of the college because even an autonomous college own have no entrance exam for an admission to engineering.

Only the JEE entrance exam is conducted by CBSE to get an admission into an engineering.JEE stands for Joint Entrance Exam.It has two exams:-

    1.JEE Main

    2.JEE Advance

To get an admission, the student must have completed his/her 12th with more than 50% marks under some recognized university or board.

He/She has to apply for JEE either to get an admission into NIT or into a college or university.

There are so many good engineering colleges in Maharashtra:

    1. St Xavier’s College

    2. Elphinstone College

    3. Sophia College for Women

    4. Mithibai College

    5. KET VG Vaze College

    6. Bhavan’s College, Andheri

    7. D.G Ruparel College

    8. K.J Somaiya College

    9. SIES College

    10. Jai Hind College

    Thank you.
