    Eligibility criteria for Common Admission Test (CAT)?

    sir/madam,
    i have taken admision in full time programme in planning & entrepreneurship in IIPM Delhi. Institute has told me that they will provide an ugc certified degree after the completion of the course. But I am still not sure that i will be eligible for CAT afterwards. Please kindly help me out.

    CAT stands for Common Admission Test. This exam is popular exam all over the India.

    CAT exam require 50% marks in graduation from recognized university from any discipline .For SC/ST candidate marks required is 45% .

    Pattern of CAT Exam:-

    1.Verbal Ability.
    2.Logical Reasoning.
    3.Quantitative Aptitude.
    4.Reading Comprehension.
    5.Data Interpretation.

    CAT stands for Common Admission Test.

    CAT 2013 Eligibility Criteria (IIM):

    Candidates should have a valid graduation degree from a recognized college or university. You should have atleast 50% marks in your graduation degree in any Field. For SC/ST and OBC students the percentage of marks is 45 %. For physically disabled people the criteria of marks is also 50%. If the candidate has received a grade / CGPA in place of marks, then it will be converted into marks according to the procedure certified by the University/ institution from where the candidate has obtained the Bachelorís degree.

    Final year students of Graduate Courses can also apply.
