See in engineering there's no tough or easy every course has it's own weightage and it deoends upon your interest.Pease dont listen to anyone saying that ECE is tough or CSE is tough.Ask yourself which department you are intrested in and which has future scopes.ECE and EEE are evergreen and numerous oppurtunities are available.Yes ECE is tough and EEE is dry subject.If love machines and electricity then EEE is good.if u are good in programmings like C,C++ then CSE is very good choice for u.If u r interested in electronics,mobile communication then ECE is the choice.Talk with seniors of the college where you are planning to take your course and decide yourself and make it clear so that after you have chosen the course there's no turning back around.All the best

Under stand one thing if you don't understand and study then CSE & IT will be more tougher than the ECE & EEE courses

Since you are a average student you may opt for the Civil Engineering course , which will be more easier and you will get more diagram related subject , and you will easily get marks in the exams.

hii my friend there is nothing called tough iin engineering.Its all depends on your interest and how you study.Elcetronics and communication is an evergreen subject,with lots of easy concepts like basic electronics,
logic design,microproccesors,microcontollers,analog and digital electronics.many comminucation subjects will also come here in picture like wireless and microwave.all theory subjects colud easily learnt,and labs will also
be easy. you can more marks in ece than any other subjects as its mainly having the maths and logical.many good placemets are going on for ece peopla in bothe electronics and software companies.EEE is also similar,but ECE is best.

yse EEE and ECE are a little tougher branches as compared to CS and IT... but they are not that much tuff...just little bit tough as compared to others....

u are a average student so for you CS and IT is best option, coz in that both branches, they are comparably easier branches and also have good demand for job.
and even nw if you want to compare CSE and IT, so IT branch is more easier and it also has good carrier...

See there is no tough or easy branch in engineering this entirely depends on your interest only.
during school times if you are really focused towards physics subjects and you feel easy in that then there is no difficulty for you in doing ECE or EEE.
Otherwise go for CSE or IT which is completely different from your studies which you have studied till now, All programs you have to learn C, C++, JAVA, etc software.
And have to be up to date in software programming.

is mechanical engineering suitable for average students?

see if u select ece brach than it have 4 year maths and if u select cse brach than it have 2 year math so chose what u like if u not knw about programming than really u got very difficult in cse branch also so choice is depend on u well no branch is eassy and tough every branch have there own catagory its depend on u which brach u like b coz job is in both branch ok friend do confuse choose watever u like see both brach hole syllabus for getting knowledge about both brach and than u able to find ur branch .................

Will taking ECE hinder my preparations for GRE ??....I heard it's a tough subject but it doesn't really matter as I'm a good student and I've a lot of interest for the subject...I just want to make sure that there will be enough time to study for GRE.

yes you can say that ece,eee are comparitively tough than cse or it but the point is that
if you get work hard then there is nothing tough,do not listen to others it's your own decision of life...
go for the stream in which you are fully interested,then there would be nothing tough for you,even if it is considered tough by others.

I don't think that ECE and EEE are more tough then CSE or IT.
All are branches are equal and require same kind of hard work
and attention to study. There are some students who may find
computer science harder then ECE or EEE. Even when i was in
engineering , i did not like programming languages and datastructures ,
so for me computer science was more tough then the branch
in which i did my engineering(ECE). So it depends on person to person.
So you choose a branch in which you are intrested and don't
look at the toughness or easiness of a branch.If you study byheart
and with intrest even the toughest of the subject will look easy.

Every thing is harder if we think it is hard. because its our mind set. If you like then it will be very easy.
In the EEE and ECE lot of mathematics oriented paper is available i.e, you have lot of problem oriented papers are available. But in CSE and IT and other department then you may face theory oriented paper. If you are interested in mathematics then go ECE, EEE . Otherwise Go for IT and CSE. Even in IT and ECE you have a maths paper but that is basic maths only not that much tough.

hi...................humnnnnnnn the question abt which branch is more harder, look i m also the student of IT stream and my experienced said that after the completion of first year all the branches hav there own way, basically, its depends upon u that how can u handle them....bcos in terms of CS IT.....u hav to improve ur skill n generate ur interest towards ur technical knowledge viz. C,C++,java,db etc....and if u can then there is no problem with u...in the same way ECE - EEE have there own..........and one more interesting thing is that if u choose either ECE or EEE.....you can participate in the CS-IT's field as well only u hav to do wht is....u hav a knowledge abt either C, C++ , JAVA etc according to the demand but this case is not applied for the CS-IT students......and last bt not least.....u get more chance to applied for government jobs(BEL,BHEL,SAIL n many more) in ECE or EEE than in case of CS - IT......so choice is urs...

it basically depend upon your intrest of taking the subject and your like towards the subject. ece no dought is the subject which is best and job is also secure after the course. eee is thougher than cse and ece.

ECE and EEE have cpre subjects .In CSE and IT all are programming lanhuages and also the subjects are very easy.It's not be say that ECE and EEE are dificult but there is lot of scope to study core compared with CSE and IT.

If you study with interest then you can easily gain 70% aggregate

in engineering all branches are equally tough and equally easy. so in choosing stream dont get confused with what others say.
find your area of interest. as you have mentioned about ECE EEE CSE and IT i will explain about these streams alone.
if you like your physics in 12th class you can choose ECE and EEE because ECE and EEE is more of circuits and machinery so if you like circuits and if you feel it to be interesting you can definitely choose ECE or EEE. but if you dont like circuits and computers is your interest choose CSE IT
average student can successfully complete any stream of engineering so dont get confused choose according to your interest.

• Semiconductor Devices
• Digital Signal Processing
• Electromagnetic Engineering
• Microprocessors and Controllers
• Analogue Communications
• Digital Communications

These subjects are tough with respect to computer engineering and other branches , because these subjects have core material for study.
Whereas Computers and IT consist of programing and logical subjects which are easy with respect to ECE subjects. But Computers will benefit you more in terms of future carrier.

So if you have some interest in programming choose competitors for engineering.

All the branches have their own merits and demerits during the studies similarly in jobs as presently the software field is facing some problems so the branch which you have chosen is a good one and i would advice that you should not change your decision although EEE and ECE is a bit vast branch but not tough i think you can do well if you try and one more thing i would like to say i.e in electronics branch you can go in both software and core field but in CS and IT branch you don't have that advantage,at the same time i would say that in compare to EEE,ECE is easier as well as has a good future prospect!!!!!!

Yes, CSE is the easiest branch in engineering.
it has more theory part ,there are programming languages like C,C++ ,JAVA, VB,VB.NET,ASP,C# etc.
these all are just practice languages, more you practice them you will get more perfect and all these are easy.
There is no hard drawings in CSE as in mechanical, no calculations of current flowing as in EEE and ECE

CSE is the best and easy and has maximum placement as well as maximum salary package as compared to other branches

All subjects contain tough things. If you understand basics well then your subjects are in your way. I suggest you that what is your wish or which subject you had some knowledge , you must choose that kind of subjects for your best career

The ECE and EEE branches are the core branches of engineering and in their course,There are lots of numerical study material are present so its quite hard.
In the CS and IT branch courses,There are almost theory subjects are present.So its easy as compare to core branches.
