    Re: Duration of MBA course?

Master in Business Administration (MBA) is a two years professional degree course.

All the master courses (post graduation courses), which are supposed to be pursued after bachelor courses (graduation courses), are mostly of two years duration.

In the first year of MBA, one is taught the basics of all the specializations in detail.
It is in the second year, that one has to choose one's specialization.

    >>> There are also one year MBA courses, known as EXECUTIVE MBA COURSES.
These are either part time or distant learning courses.

Many a times, companies provide their employees, who can be made more effective/productive, with such executive courses.

Almost all the top MBA institutes like IIMs provide these MBA programmes.

    All the best!!!

    Re: Duration of MBA course?

    dear friend

MBA is a postgraduate course of two years duration. It can be pursued if you are a graduate. Two years have 6 trimesters.

IN first three trimesters you are taught common papers and second year you learn about a specific area and that area becomes your specialisation.

Similarly Integrated MBA is of 5 years duration and can be pursued after 10+2.

Executive MBA is a course of one year duration and taken up by aspirants having more than 3 years of work experience . This is done for adding value to career.

    Thank you.
