DRDO STA-B Entrance Exam

Defence Research & Development Organisation conducts the DRDO STA-B entrance exam for the recruitment of the qualified candidates as STA-B in to the organization. Those who clear the written test and the personal interview thereafter can become Section “B” - Senior Technical Assistants within DRDO. The organization carries out the test as per the vacancies incurring within it. As the test is carried out in many centers all through the country, aspirants can opt for their nearby test center for writing the exam.

Structure and Pattern of the DRDO STA-B entrance exam

The test pattern is of objective type. Out of the total 150 questions, 100 questions will be on the concerned technical subjects. The remaining questions will be on common awareness and intelligence. It also comprises of reasoning ability and Science questions. The mode of instructions will be Hindi and English.

Qualification Criteria for the DRDO STA-B entrance exam

The eligibility criterion is different for diverse posts that come under DRDO STA-B entrance exam. Those who have completed Science graduation in the respective fields can apply for the various vacancies in science streams. It is just like, in order to apply for the STA-B Agricultural vacancies, applicants should have completed B.Sc. Agriculture. Likewise, for the engineering vacancies, aspirants are required to have conceded the diploma in engineering in the concerned subjects.

Application Procedure of the DRDO STA-B entrance exam

The notification for the test along with the application form format will be published in prime employment newspapers. Applicants need to prepare forms in the prescribed format in A4 sized plain paper. They can also download the proforma from the authorized site of DRDO. Applicants, after duly filling the forms should send it to the DRDO official address prior to the last date. They should attach attested copies of credentials and DD of the required amount along with the forms.
