    Wildlife Institute of India is shortly called as WII and it is an autonomous institution working under the Ministry of Environment and Forests of the Indian Government. The institute is operating from the city of Dehradun and the list of courses offered by the institute is given below:

    Courses offered by WII:

    Master of Science in Wildlife Science
    Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Wildlife Management
    Certificate course in Wildlife Management

    In addition to these courses, the institute also offers several short-term courses on specific themes and techniques pertaining to wild life management.

    Master of Science in Wildlife Science:

    This course duration is two years and for admission of students to this course a national level entrance examination is conducted by the institute, which includes the following papers:

    General Knowledge
    General Science
    Optional Paper (Any of the following)
    o Veterinary Science
    o Agriculture Science
    o Forestry
    o Life Sciences

    About General Knowledge Section:

    General Knowledge section is a common section for all candidates taking up the entrance examination and this section will have questions in objective type format. General Knowledge section will have 10 multiple choice questions.
