    Download University of North Bengal Directorate of Distance Education Master of Arts Political Science Part I Exams Previous Years Question Papers

    University of North Bengal in addition to offering courses through regular mode, also offers some of the courses through distance education mode through its Directorate of Distance Education. Totally seven PG courses are offered by the Directorate of Distance Education of North Bengal University.

    About M.A. Political Science course offered by the North Bengal University:

    The M.A. Political Science course offered by the North Bengal University extends to a period of two years called as Part-I and Part-II. Part-I of the course is conducted for 500 marks in total and Part-II is conducted for 500 marks. Of the 500 marks in part I, nine subjects of number 1 to 9 are offered with each paper carrying 50 marks there by making 450 marks and remaining 50 marks is awarded for assignment.

    Course No. 2: Main Currents of Political Thought in India (Emphasis on Modern India)
    Course No. 3: Indian Politics: Structure and Setting
    Course No. 4: Indian Politics: Process and Issues
    Course No. 5: Public administration: Approaches, Principles and Theories
    Course No. 6: Development Administration (with special reference to Indian Administration)
    Course No. 7: International Relations: Theories and Problems
    Course No. 8: Contemporary Political Issues
    Course No. 9: Western Political Theory: Approaches, Models and Theories
