    Download University of Kerala Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) Combined First and Second Semester Engineering Mathematics - I Exam Previous Years Question Papers

    Kerala University is a state university offering education from the Indian state of Kerala and the university offers a wide range of courses under different categories like under graduate courses, postgraduate courses, postgraduate courses under credit & semester system, postgraduate course under IDE and diploma & certificate courses.

    Conditions for admission to the B. Tech course:

    For admission to the Bachelor of Technology course, candidates must have completed their higher secondary examination under the state board of Kerala/ISC/CBSC with at least 50% of marks separately in mathematics, 50% of marks in biology/computer science/biotechnology/chemistry & physics as aggregate. Even candidates with diploma in engineering from the board of technical education of Kerala or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto after doing an institutional course of minimum three years by securing not less than 50% of marks in the final diploma examination.

    Common subjects for all branches of B. Tech in first and second semester:

    Even though, Kerala University offers B. Tech in different branches, the first two semesters of all branches of B. Tech course has common subjects as given below:

    Engineering Physics
    Engineering Chemistry
    Engineering Graphics
    Engineering Mechanics
    Basic Civil Engineering
    Basic Mechanical Engineering
    Basic Electrical & Electronics Engineering
    Basic Communication & Information Technology
    Engineering Workshops

    About Engineering Mathematics I paper:

    This paper is divided into three modules and the chapters covered under each of these modules are given below:

    Module I: Application of Differentiation, Partial Differentiation and applications and vector differentiation and application
    Module II: Laplace transforms, Differential equations and applications
    Module III: Matrices
