    Download University of Kerala Bachelor of Commerce Tourism and Hotel Management (Optional Paper) Exam Previous Years Question Papers

    University of Kerala or Kerala University came into existence as early as 1937 and it is a public university offering education from the city of Trivandrum, which is the capital city of the state of Kerala. The university has a number of colleges under its affiliation for offering courses under different disciplines.

    Bachelor of Commerce from Kerala University:

    Totally 47 colleges functioning under the affiliation of the Kerala University offers Bachelor of Commerce course and the university also offers B. Com with specializations like computer applications, travel and tourism management, hotel management and catering. For general bachelor of commerce course, candidates must have passed higher secondary examination from the state of Kerala or other examinations accepted by the university as equivalent thereto. Candidates with non-commerce background should have secured not less than 45% of aggregate marks.

    Kerala University offers many optional papers to choose from in the second and final year of the Bachelor of Commerce and the names of some of the optional subjects are given below:

    Electronic data processing computer applications
    Tourism and hotel management
    Taxation law and practice
    Legal aspects of co-operation
    Taxation law and practice

    About Tourism and hotel management paper:

    This paper is called as optional subject C and examination for this paper will be conducted for 100 marks. The question paper will have three sections and marks allotted for section A is 20, for section B is 40 marks, while the marks allotted for section C is 40.
