    Teerthanker Mahaveer University is a dynamic and young university in the nation offering outstanding educational courses. The university came into existence through an Act of the Uttar Pradesh government on the 14th of September 2008 and it is committed for ideals of Lord Mahaveer.

    B. Pharm course offered by Teerthanker Mahaveer University:

    Teerthanker Mahaveer University offers Bachelor of Pharmacy course through its College of Pharmacy and the duration of this course is four years. For getting into this course, candidates must have completed their 10+2 with Science subjects either PCB or PCM and admission will be on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination.

    Method of assessment for B. Pharm course:

    Assessment of knowledge of students of B. Pharm course is done by the university with 25% of marks for internal assessment and 75% of marks for external assessment. The papers are divided into theory papers and practical papers with examination time duration of three hours for external theory papers and 1.5 hours for external practical papers. The time permitted for practical papers is 4 hours for external and four hours for internal examination.

    Structure of Question papers:

    The B. Phram course has totally 79 subjects divided into 8 semesters and the question paper pattern for theoretical subjects is that there will be eight questions of which first question shall be of short answer type and this is compulsory question. This question will have eight parts with questions covering all the units of the syllabus and out of these 8 any five are to be answered by the candidates. The first question carries 15 marks and any five questions other than the first question is to be answered with each question carrying 12 marks each.
