College of pharmacy functioning under Teerthanker Mahaveer University as the name implies is meant for offering pharmaceutical courses at the diploma, UG and PG level. As far as Bachelor of Pharmacy course offered by the college is concerned, both first year entry and lateral entry facility is offered for candidates with diploma in pharmacy from a recognized university or institution. Admission to the first semester of the Bachelor of Pharmacy course is offered to candidates with 10+2 in science stream either with PCB/PCM subjects. Lateral entry admission is offered to candidates with two-year Diploma in Pharmacy.

This subject name of the paper is Remedial biology and it is also called as fundamental biology and the objective behind the introduction of this subject is to make the students familiar with the basic concepts of biology. The subject is divided into five units as given below:

• Unit I: General Survey of Animal Kingdom
• Unit II: General Structure of life history
• Unit III: Morphology and histology of root
• Unit IV: Plant Cell
• Unit V: Classification of plant kingdom
