    The Mechanical Engineering course offered by Satyabama University has the curriculum with syllabi having theoretical and practical papers, which includes general core courses comprising of engineering, basic and mathematical sciences, core courses of technology/engineering, elective courses for specialization in appropriate fields, camps, educational tours, project work, seminar presentations, industrial training, lab work, engineering graphics, computer and workshop practice.

    Examinations in mechanical engineering course:

    The course is divided into eight semesters and examinations normally are conducted between the months of October and December for odd semesters and between March and May for even semesters.

    Theory papers in the seventh semester of the course:

    The seventh semester of the B.E. Mechanical Engineering course includes the following theoretical papers:

    Total quality management
    Fluid power systems
    Automobile Engineering
    Production planning and control
    Elective III
    Elective IV

    How about Energy engineering and management paper:

    Energy engineering and management is offered as one among the elective papers offered in the B.E. Mechanical Engineering course and the elective papers are divided under four groups being Group I, II, III and IV. Any one subject from each group should be chosen by students for elective papers in the sixth and seventh semester of the course. According to the current syllabus, energy engineering and management paper comes under group IV called as Energy conversion and management systems and its current code number is SMEX1035.
