    Download NET French (Paper II) Exam Previous Years Question Papers

    The National Educational Testing Burueau is conducting the NET Examination, which is elaborated as National Eligibility Test. The examination is conducted for determining the eligibility of a candidate for awarding lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship positions. Some of the subjects in which the NET examination is conducted are Folk Literature, comparative literature, mass communication and journalism, law, French, etc…

    About NET French Exam:

    As said earlier, NET is conducted in different papers among which French examination is conducted for lectures in the subject of French.

    Pattern of NET French Paper II:

    The French paper has two question papers and they are Paper – II and Paper – III. The question paper for Paper II French will have 50 objective type questions carrying 100 marks. The question paper will have questions of reasoning type, true/false, matching type and multiple choice format.

    Syllabus for French:

    The questions for French paper II will have questions from:

    • 16th and 17th Century
    • 18th and 19th Century
    • 20th Century
    • Linguistics Theory & Interpretative Theory
    • One Passage from English to French
    • History, geography, social and political life
    • Music, sculpture, painting and cinema
    • Language as a system of communication and language as structure
    • Traditional, direct and audio-visual methods

    Previous year question papers:

    Candidates, who wish to take up French as the optional paper in the NET examination can find attached previous year question papers of French Paper-II.
