    Download NET Buddhist, Jaina, Gandhian and Peace Studies (Paper II) Exam Previous Years Question Papers

    The National Eligibility Testing Bureau of the University Grants Commission is responsible for conducting the National Eligibility Test popularly known as NET for awarding Junior Fellowship and to determine the eligibility of candidates for lectureship and the test is meant only for Indian Nationals.

    Disciplines in NET:

    The test is conducted in different disciplines like electronic sciences, computer science & applications, environmental sciences, forensic sciences, social sciences and humanities inclusive of languages. The test is conducted in 94 optional subjects for the candidates to choose from and each of these subjects has two papers being paper II and Paper III.

    About Bhddhist, Jaina, Gandhian and Peace Studies:

    This subject is conducted for selection of candidates for lectureship position in these subjects and syllabus for this subject is divided into 10 units combined together for Paper II and Paper III.

    Pattern of Paper II of Buddhist, Jaina, Gandhian and peace studies:

    Paper II of Buddhist, Jaina, Gandhian and peace studies will be conducted for 100 marks for a duration of 1 hour and 15 minutes and a maximum mark of 100. The question paper will have 50 multiple choice questions with four options and all these questions should be compulsorily answered by candidates with each correct answer carrying 2 marks. There will not be any negative marking for wrong answers in NET.

    Previous years question papers:

    NET examination is conducted two times a year in the month of May/June and in the month of December. June and December question papers of NET Buddhist, Jaina, Gandhian and peace studies belonging to the years’ 2004-2010 are given in attachment.
