    Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication was established in the year 1990 and the university offers wide range of courses particular in the faculties of journalism and communication and in other faculties as well.

    Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication offers Master of Science courses in three different subjects namely information technology, computer science and electronics media. Among these courses as most of us know, IT is a booming a field many students wish to take up Master of Science in IT course from MCNUJC.

    About M. Sc IT course:

    The Master of Science in IT course offered by the university extends to a period of two years, which is divided into four semesters. Recently since the university introduced a new syllabus from the academic session beginning with July 2011, the fourth semester of this course, which is the final semester includes the following subjects:

    Linux & Web Server Administration
    Web designing
    Elective II
    o Distributed Systems
    o Information Security
    o Advanced DBMS
    Project Work

    Scoring Pattern for Fourth Semester:

    The total marks for the first two papers mentioned above is 125 each, while for third paper, it is 100 marks and for fourth paper, which is project work, the marks allotted is 200 thereby making a total of 550 marks for this semester, which include marks for theory papers, internal evaluation and practical exams.
