Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) is conducted on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education for admission of students to the MBA and MCA courses offered by different universities and their affiliated colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Eligibility:

For taking the ICET examination for admission to MBA course, candidates must have completed their graduation of minimum three-year duration from a recognized university, while for MCA course the qualification requirement remains the same as MBA course and in addition they must have studied mathematics at the higher secondary level.

Pattern of ICET Examination:

The examination is conducted for 200 marks and there will be 200 questions in the examination that is divided among the three sections as given below:

• Section A: Analytical Ability – 75 marks
• Section B: Mathematics Ability – 75 marks
• Section C: Communication Ability – 50 marks

About Section C: Communication Ability:

The 50 questions in this section will be further divided into four parts as given below:

• Vocabulary – 10 questions
• Business and Computer Technology – 10 questions
• Function Grammar – 15 questions
• Reading Comprehension – 15 questions
The maximum duration allowed for completion of communication ability section is two-and-half hours or 150 minutes.
