    Download Institute of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers Advanced Level Courses in Computer Science - Numerical Computing (CS41) Exam Previous Years Question Papers

    Advanced Level Courses in Computer Science is shortly called as ALCCS course and it is a three-year part-time course offered by the Institute of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers. The purpose of the course is to enable working professionals to acquire a qualification equivalent to Master of Technology in computer science. This ALCCS course has been approved by the human resource development ministry’s Department of education.

    Job profiles for candidates with ALCCS certification:

    Candidates with ALCCS qualification can acquire job positions in the following positions:

    • Research & development scientist
    • Consultant
    • Manager/System specialist in computer installation organizations
    • Project leader in large computerization projects

    Eligibility requirement:

    For applying to the ALCCS course, candidates must have completed their Bachelor of Engineering/Technology or its equivalent courses or AMIE/AMIETE offered by the IETE. Candidates with Master of Computer Applications or Master of Science in operations research, statistics, mathematics, physics, electronics and computer science are also eligible to apply.

    About Numerical Computing paper:

    This is one of the different papers offered in the ALCCS course and the code number of this paper is CS41 and the examination for this paper is conducted by the institute for 100 marks. There will be totally 7 questions in the question paper and the first question is to be compulsorily answered by candidates. This first question carries 28 marks and any 4 questions from the remaining 6 questions are to be answered by candidates.
