The institution came into existence in the year 1953 and its centres are spread all over India and abroad as well.

    Advanced Level Courses in Computer Science conducted by IETE:

    IETE offers PG level course known as Advanced Level Course in Computer Science and this course is denoted as ALCCS. This course is offered by the institution after due recognition from the Ministry of Human Resource Development of Government of India as equivalent to the Master of Technology in Computer Science course. The course has been approved suitable for appointment of candidates for superior positions and services under the central government.

    Subjects in Advanced Level Courses in Computer Science:

    The course has totally 26 subjects and some of them are:

    Mobile computing
    Computer programming and problem solving through C
    Object oriented programming
    Operations research and system simulation
    Parallel computing

    About Computer programming and problem solving through C:

    The code number of this subject is CS11 and examination for this paper is conducted for 100 marks for three hours duration.

    Pattern of question paper:

    The question paper will have seven questions out of which question No.1 has to be compulsorily answered and any four out of the remaining six questions has to be chosen by the candidates for answering.
