    Download Institute of Cost and Works Accountants’ of India Certificate in Accounting Technician Foundation Course Paper 1 Exam Previous Years Question Papers

    With a view to meet the demand for accountants at junior level in India, the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India introduced the Certificate course in Accounting Technician. The course is shortly called as CAT and its duration is one year.

    Details about CAT Course:

    This course is meant for candidates with 10+2 qualification and the course has two parts being foundation level course and Competence level course. The course also includes 60 hours of practical training and 15 days of orientation training programme. The course is offered both in English and Hindi language.

    Papers offered in the foundation level of Certificate in Accounting Technician course:

    Foundation course in the entry-level course and this level has four papers namely:
    • Organization and Management Fundamentals
    • Accounting
    • Economics and Business Fundamentals
    • Business Mathematics and Statistical Fundamentals

    About Paper 1 of CAT course:

    Paper 1 is code number for Organization and Management Fundamentals and the paper is meant for offering a basic level of understanding to the students on organization and management.

    Pattern of Paper1 in foundation level of CAT course:

    Examination for this papers will be conducted for three hours with a total marks of 100. Question paper will have questions under two sections. Section I will have three questions out of which first question (compulsory) and any one from the remaining two questions should be answered by candidates. Section II will have five questions of which the first question should be compulsorily and from the remaining questions any three are to be answered by candidates.
