Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India shortly called as ICFAI came into existence in the year 1984. It was established as a non-profit society with the objective of offering training in management and finance.

About CFA course:

The CFA course offered by the ICFAI is called as MIFA and the course is divided into six groups with two subjects for each group. All groups are to be completed by students in sequential manner for getting MIFA certification. For seeking admission to the MIFA course, candidates must have completed their UG degree in any discipline with at least 50% of aggregate marks or they must possess four years experience in finance sector. The course extends to a period of two years and Group B of the course is offered in the first year with the following two papers:

Papers in Group B:

• Quantitative Methods
• Financial Management

About Quantitative Methods paper:

This paper offered in the first year of the course is offered under Group B and examination for this paper is conducted for 100 marks. Question paper for this examination will have 79 questions and there will be one mark and two-mark questions. The maximum marks allotted for each question is indicated against the question.
