    Download Institute of Actuaries of India Finance and Financial Reporting (CT2) Exam Previous Years Question Papers

    The Institute of Actuaries of India, which was established in the year 1944 on the month of September is the sole professional body of Actuaries in India.

    Eligibility requirement to join the institute:

    Any person with at least 18 years of age and possess a high degree of aptitude for statistics and mathematics are eligible to take up the course offered by the Institute of Actuaries of India to become an Actuary. Normally, candidates with first-class UG or PG degree in econometrics, statistics and mathematics will be in a better position to become actuaries. For becoming an actuary, a candidate will have to clear the subjects offered by the institute, in addition he will have to comply with other criteria like attendance at a professionalism course and experience requirement.

    Groups in the Actuary course:

    The course is divided into different groups like CT, CA, ST and SA series and of them CT series is the
    first group and papers in this series involve development of theory of actuarial science and application of statistics and mathematics to actuarial applications like investment, employee benefits, general insurance, life insurance, etc… CT series includes eight papers and they are:

    • Financial Mathematics
    • Finance and Financial Reporting
    • Probability and mathematical statistics
    • Models
    • General Insurance, Life and Health Contingencies
    • Statistical Models
    • Business Economics
    • Financial Economics

    Previous Years Question Papers of Finance and Finance Reporting Paper:

    This is the second paper in the CT series and thereby denoted by the code CT2 and previous years question paper of this paper are given in the attachment.
