    Download Indian Statistical Institute Bachelor of Maths (hons.) Admission Test MIA and MIB Previous Years Question Papers

    Indian Statistical Institute is offering education from its head quarters in the city of Kolkata and the institute has branches in other cities like Bangalore, Chennai and Delhi. The Bachelor of Mathematics (hons.) course is offered by the institute from its Bangalore branch and the course is of three years duration.

    Eligibility requirement for Bachelor of Mathematics (hons.):

    For applying to this course, candidates must have completed their 10+2 years of higher secondary with mathematics and English as subjects. Selection of candidates to this course will be based on entrance test and interview.

    Admission to Bachelor of Mathamatics (hons.) course:

    As mentioned earlier, admission of students to this course is done on the basis of admission test conducted by the institute. The admission test for this course will have two sets of question papers being MIA and MIB and recently MIA is denoted as SIA and MIB is denoted as SIB. MIA denotes multiple choice questions and MIB denotes short answer types questions. Indian National Mathematical Olympiad awardees not take up the written test, they will be directly called for interview.

    Pattern of question paper:

    As mentioned earlier MIA/SIA will be objective type questions with four options and there will be short answer questions under MIB/SIB.
