    Download Indian Space Research Organization Assistant/Junior Personal Assistant Exam Paper I General English (Descriptive Type) Previous Years Question Papers

    ISRO is the Indian Space Research Organization and it is an independent Government agency in India that came into existence in the year 1969. The purpose behind the establishment of this institution is for conduction of research and development activities and construction of vehicles for exploring the space. The institute conducts different examinations for recruitment of candidates to different positions and examination for recruitment of Assistant/Junior Personal Assistant is one such examination.

    Educational qualification:

    To apply for the Assistant/Junior Assistant Examination, candidates must fulfill the following educational qualification requirement for each of these positions:

    Assistant position:

    Candidates must be graduates in discipline like arts, commerce, management, science or computer applications with first class to apply for the position of Assistant and knowledge of usage of computers is also essential.

    Junior Personal Assistant:

    For this position also, candidates must be graduates in computer applications or science or management/commerce or arts and even diploma holders in commercial practice or secretarial practice with first class are eligible to apply. Candidates must also possess one year experience of working as steno-typist or stenographer and they should have a minimum speed of 80 words per minute in English Stenography.

    Examination pattern:

    Recruitment examination for the position of Assistant/Junior Assistant will be conducted for 2 hours with 82 questions divided as follows:

    Part-A General English (Objective Type) 40 questions
    Part-B General Studies (Objective Type) 40 questions
    Part-C General English (Descriptive Type) 02 questions

    Previous years question papers of General English (Descriptive Type):

    Descriptive was previous included in Part A until the year 2006 and from the year 2008, this section was converted as Part-C and candidates can download previous years question papers of General English (Descriptive Type) paper from the attachment.
