    The Indian Space Research Organization shortly called as ISRO is an independent Indian Governmental Agency that came into existence in the year 1969. It was established for research and development activities and vehicles for the exploration of space within and outside the atmosphere of earth. The organization is operating from its headquarters in the city of Bangalore. The chairman of this organization is also the chairman of the Space Commission of Indian Government and is the Secretary of the Department of Space of the Indian government.

    Eligibility requirement for taking up Accounts Officer exam of ISRO:

    For taking up recruitment examination for the position of Accounts Officer, candidates must have completed ACA/FCA or AICWA/FICWA with one year experience in supervisory capacity. Even candidates with Master of Commerce and three years experience of which one year should of in supervisory capacity can also apply. Otherwise, candidates with Bachelor of Commerce with five years experience of which two years in a supervisor capacity. The three and five years experience mentioned for M. Com and B. Com degree holders must be in the area of cost accounting/finance and accounts.

    Pattern of Accounts Officer recruitment exam:

    The question paper for Accounts Officer recruitment examination of ISRO will have four parts with the appropriate number of questions given below:
    Part A Arithmetic, test of reasoning - 36 questions
    Part B English Grammar 32 questions
    Part C Area 36 questions
    Part D Descriptive Type 02 questions
