    Download Indian Forest Service Physics Exam Previous Years Question Papers

    The Indian Forest Service Examination is held every year all over India. This exam is conducted by the UPSC to recruit individuals in the Indian Forest Service.

    Exam pattern:

    Physics form an optional subject in the IFS examination. Physics is hugely chosen by candidates appearing for this exam. Physics has two papers namely Paper I and Paper II.

    Syllabus of Physics paper in Indian Forest Service Examination:

    Physics Paper I has questions on the following concepts:-

    Classical Mechanics
    Special Relativity, Waves, and Geometric Optics
    Physical Optics
    Electricity and Magnetism
    Electromagnetic Theory & Black Body Radiation
    Thermal and Statistical Physics

    Paper II of Physics encompasses the following:-

    Quantum Mechanics I
    Quantum Mechanics II and Atomic Physics
    Molecular Physics
    Nuclear Physics
    Particle Physics and Solid State Physics

    Duration of Physics paper in Indian Forest Service Exam:

    The duration is three hours for each of the optional papers of Physics the total marks of each paper being 200. Both the papers are held on the same day.

    Scoring pattern:

    Properly labeled diagrams and charts fetch good marks. Good informative answers also make a good score. There is no scope of negative marking in both the papers.
