    Download IIT JMET Exam Verbal Communication Previous Years Question Papers

    JMET stands for Joint Management Entrance Test and as from the term preceding JMET, this examination is conducted jointly by the IITs in the nation. It is a national level management entrance examination for engineering graduates, who wish to take up MBA course. The question paper for this examination is designed by IITs and IISc and students getting through this examination will be eligible for admission to the management program in IITs on fulfillment of other eligibility requirements.

    Eligibility requirement to apply for IIT JMET Examination:

    For applying to the JMET examination, candidates must have secured not less than 605 GPA out of 10 or average of 60% of marks in their engineering course or M. Sc graduates from a recognized university are also eligible to apply for JMET Examination. However, relaxation of qualifying marks is applicable to reserved category candidates. Even, candidates in the final year of their qualifying examination are eligible to apply.

    Question paper pattern:

    The question paper for JMET Examination is designed with a view to evaluate the data interpretation, quantitative analysis, logical and verbal communication skills of the candidats and therefore the section in the question paper would be:

    Verbal communication
    Logical Reasoning
    Quantitative ability
    Data interpretation

    Basic knowledge of mathematics is required for taking up this examination.

    Number of questions in the paper:

    The total number of questions in the paper would be 150 and all questions are MCQs to be completed within a duration of two hours. The exam was introduced by IITs from the year 2000 and the paper pattern will be similar to the CAT Examination.
