    Duration of Computer Applications paper in IIT JAM exam:

    The paper of Computer Applications is allotted a duration of three hours. The question paper is a mix of both objective and subjective questions weightages of which are 30% and 70% respectively. The total number of questions is 100 carrying a maximum of 300 marks in total.

    Scoring pattern:

    For each correct answer a candidate is awarded 6 marks and for each wrong answer 2 marks are deducted. There is no mark awarded for un-attempted questions. There is no negative marking in subjective questions; marks awarded here are based on the logic and correctness of the answers.
