Gujarat State Eligibility Test abbreviated as GSET is an examination for lectureship held in the state of Gujarat. This examination is conducted by the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara.

Pattern of exam:

Home Science paper-III will consist of only descriptive questions.

This paper has four separate sections.

First sections based on essay writing and carry 40 marks. The candidate is expected to write up to 500 words for each question of 20 marks. (2Q*20M=40 marks)

The second sections carry 45 marks. The candidate is expected to write up to 300 words for each question of 15 marks. (3Q*15M=45 marks)

The third sections carry 90 marks. The candidate is expected to write up to 50 words for each question of 10 marks. (9Q*10M=90 marks)

The fourth sections carry 25 marks. The candidate is expected to write up to 30 words for each question of 5 marks. (5Q*5M=25 marks)

Duration of Home Science (Paper-III) in GSET Exam:

Home Science Paper-III will be held in the second session of 150 minutes duration and will carry a maximum of 200 marks. The candidate will be required to attempt questions in the Test Booklet itself. The candidate will be required to attempt questions in the space provided in the Test Booklet. Time management should be appropriately done in this exam.

Scoring pattern:

Answers with required logic and good information content fetch a good score. Illogical concepts should not be applied while answering. No negative marking scheme is available for these papers.
