    Download Education Common Entrance Test (Ed. CET) Part A General English Previous Years Question Papers

    Education Common Entrance Test is shortly called as Ed. CET and as from the name, this examination is conducted for the purpose of selection of candidate to the education course of B. Ed in colleges and universities functioning in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

    Who can apply for this exam?

    For applying to this examination, candidates must have completed their degree course from a recognized university belonging to the state of Andhra Pradesh and from any other recognized university in other states. Even candidates appearing for the final year of their degree examination are eligible to apply for the exam. In the qualifying examination, candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% of marks and this mark requirement is 40% for candidates belonging to reserved category. Candidates with these educational qualifications and has attained 19 years of age alone are eligible.

    Qualifying mark in the test:

    Candidates must secure a minimum of 25% of marks in the test (i.e.) 37 out of the total of 150 marks for which the examination is conducted.

    Pattern of Ed. CET exam:

    As mentioned earlier, the examination is conducted for 150 marks in total, which means it will have 150 multiple choice questions with each question carrying one mark. There will be questions under three parts being Part A, B and C.

    General English part:

    General English forms the part A of Ed. CET examination and the maximum marks allotted for the part is 25. There will be 25 objective type questions in this part for the candidates to answer.
