Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) is the entrance examination conducted by the JNT University in the state of AP for admission to professional courses under these disciplines. EAMCET is conducted jointly for engineering and agricultural admissions, while for medical admissions, it is conducted as a separate examination.

EAMCET Engineering Exam Pattern:

EAMCET for Engineering college admission will be of objective type format and the question paper will have 160 questions in total divided as follows:

• Mathematics – 80 questions
• Physics – 40 Questions
• Chemistry – 40 Questions

EAMCET Engineering Exam Mathematics portion:

Mathematics comes as the first part in the EAMCET Examination conducted for admission to engineering courses. This section will have 80 questions of objective type format with four options for each question from which correct option should be chosen by candidates.

Syllabus for Mathematics in EAMCET:

Mathematics part of EAMCET Examination will have questions from the following chapters:

• Algebra
• Trigonometry
• Vector Algebra
• Probability
• Coordinate Geometry
• Calculus

Each of these units is divided into several subjects and questions will be from these subjects according to JNTU.
