EAMCET denotes Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test and this examination is conducted in the state of Andhra Pradesh by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University located in Hyderabad for admission of students to professional courses like BDS, MBBS, B.E/B. Tech, etc… in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Jawaharlal Nehru University conducts this examination on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education located in Hyderabad. Different examinations are conducted for the Medical and engineering admissions even though the name of both examinations is EAMCET, the examination for engineering courses is suffixed by the term engineering like EAMCET Engineering and for MBBS admission, it is suffixed by the term medical like EAMCET Medical.

Pattern of EAMCET Engineering Examination:

The question paper for EAMCET Engineering examination will be of MCQ format and the paper will have 160 questions in total divided as 40 questions from physics, 40 questions from chemistry and 80 questions from mathematics.

EAMCET Engineering Physics:

Physics is the paper II in the EAMCET Examination and this paper will have 40 objective type questions with four options for each question and the candidates will have to answer in OMR Answer Sheet.
