    Download Delhi University Bachelor of Library and Information Sciences First Semester Library Classification (Practical) Exam Previous Years Question Papers

    Delhi University through its department of Library and information sciences offer the Bachelor of Library and Information Sciences course that is called as BLIS course. In addition to this course, other courses like Ph. D an M. Phil and PG degree in Library & information sciences paper are offered by the university.

    Age requirement for seeking admission to BLIS course:

    The lower age limit to apply for the course is 20, while that of upper age limit is 26 years as on the 1st of October of the year in which candidates are seeking admission. For candidates, who are already working in the positions of senior library assistant or professional assistant, the upper age limit is 35 years.

    About Library classification (practical) paper in LIS paper:

    This paper is offered in the first semester of BLIS course and there are two papers in the same name with one being theoretical paper and the other being practical paper. Code number of practical paper is B-103 and the paper includes subjects under the following units:

    Unit I: Colon classification
    Unit II: Dewey Decimal Classification
    Unit III: Colon Classification
    Unit IV: Dewey Decimal Classification (Latest Edition)

    Pattern of question paper:

    The question paper will have five questions and all of them should e attempted. Utmost mar allotted for the paper is 70 and the examination should be completed within three hours.
